RESPONSE MANAGER MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
IMPORTANT: These are guidelines for trial, non-production use of Response Manager in low-volume scenarios. Before deployment of Response Manager in a production environment, emailtopia Technical Support will provide specific hardware and software requirements based on a detailed evaluation of your planned implementation.
- Minimum Hardware: Pentium III 1GHz, 1G RAM minimum (2G if running SQL Server on the same computer).
- Windows 2000 SP4, or Windows 2003 Server
- SQL Server client software, installed from your SQL Server CD. (Not required ONLY if you are using the provided MSDE on the same machine as the server.)
- Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater (for running Response Manager Admin)
- a valid Internet host name registered with DNS; e.g., "responsemanager.example.com" for the computer.
Response Manager uses Microsoft SQL Server as its DBMS. We include a 5-user version of SQL Server (MSDE) in the installer. If you have an existing SQL Server 2000 server, you may instead run Response Manager against it if you wish. For optimum performance we recommend running it on a machine other than the Response Manager server.
 Response Manager Admin (used to administer the server):
- Windows 2000 SP4, or Windows XP SP2 or Win2003
- Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater

- Outlook 2000 (Internet-Only version; Workgroup mode not supported)
- Outlook XP
- Outlook 2003
- Outlook Express 5.5
- Outlook Express 6
